The Department of Agricultural Sciences at VGI proudly organized an enriching industrial visit to the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅), 𝐆𝐡𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 under the guidance of our 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧- 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐁.𝐒𝐜. 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 actively participated in this insightful experience. 𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅, 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 & 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚, is a premier institution for the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 practices across the country.
The visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to explore 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞-𝐨𝐟-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, witness 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐬, and engage in 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 to deepen their understanding of organic agriculture and its future prospects.
This successful and highly informative educational tour was 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐫. 𝐈𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐧- 𝐇𝐎𝐃 – 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 and was graced by the presence of our dedicated faculty members 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐥, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚 𝐃𝐰𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝𝐢- 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫,  𝐌𝐫.
